This book tells the story of Lionel Martin, one half of Aston Martin, and the cars that were so much a reflection of his own personality. It tells of a man who refused to accept defeat but gave to the sports he loved far more than he took from them. Very many of the evocative illustrations came from his personal albums; together with the text they tell of the triumphs and tribulations of a perfectionist and those who believed in him.
