Long time Jensen aficionado, Keith Anderson, tells the hitherto unrecounted story of the two brothers who inspired a whole series of designs: first sleek and svelte on chassis from other manufacturers, then muscular and impressive concepts from their own works. Anderson covers the story right from the beginning up to post war times, including the company’s departure into commercial vehicle manufacture and associated ministry contracts. Post-war the story starts with the PW saloon, then the original Interceptor, the model that paved the way for the 541, CV8, P66, FF and Jensen-Healey, culminating with the Touring styled Interceptor of the 1960s. The story is brought up to date with the demise of the company in the 1970s and how it came back to being in the late 1970s and 1980s with the rebirth of the 1980s. The book concludes with a chapter on the Jensen Owners Club.
