Grand Prix Report Auto Union has a focus on the mechanics and engineers that were involved with these marvellous machines. Team photographs and correspondence are all reproduced within the book which has been carefully researched, and includes chassis number references as well as some detailed component photographs. Through his research, Peter Kirchberg also managed to unearth a drawing showing a proposed front engined 16 Cylinder car in 1937, and has also been able to chronicle the record breaking cars. As a final recollection of the Grand Prix cars in competition events, the latter pages of the publication record the Racing Seasons 1934-1939.
