Our postage rates are as competitive as we can make them. Unfortunately books are heavy items!
The delivery method depends on the weight and size of the parcel. For small, relatively light books, we use the UK Post Office First Class or Special Delivery service within the UK and Small Packet service for International orders. For heavier items we use one of the leading courier companies, such as DHL, UPS, Fedex or similar.
The above rates are for standard services and do not include any insurance for your products. If you require an Express service or wish to add insurance, please contact us directly for a quotation.
Please note that the system only calculates the total weight of unpackaged books in your order. We do not add any additional cost to cover the supply of packaging materials or to cover the increased weight of the shipment once the books are packed.
If you have any queries regarding these rates, please do not hesitate to contact us. Obviously the table can only generalise the shipping cost of each order and it may be that due to an order being significantly lighter than the upper weight limit of the relevant band, or your geographic location, the cost may be less than initially quoted. If you think this may apply to you, please let us know and we will do our best to achieve the most economical rate for you.
