This is the first book to fill the gap of covering every aspect of motor sport. This encyclopaedia fills that gap with 488 entries on sports and racing cars, 359 driver biographies and 161 histories and descriptions of races and rallies in six continents. This includes Formula 1 to Formula Vee, American championships and not to be excluded, Autocross, Off-road racing and Stock cars amongst others. The text of 608 pages includes over 1700 black and white illustrations and 48 colour plates, many of them previously unpublished. The text is very informative as you would expect for the nature of the book and it is superbly illustrated with numerous period photographs and illustrations throughout.
